Get-noticed eyes

If you have yet to embrace a smoky eye this season, now is the time to give it a try. "A maxed out smoky eye with a hint of shimmer in the inner corner will give you just enough sparkle," Dantzler says. Pair the smoky eye with a soft nude or pink lip, or for the daring, try rocking a hot red lip to complete the party-ready look.

Luxe lashes & lips

Rather than focus your attention on shadows, make lashes the star of the show. "Another fabulous look is matching a deep purple or red lip with a pair of nice lashes on an understated eye to quietly make them pop," Dantzler says. Enhance your natural lashes with a few strategically placed false ones to add length and volume. Finish with two (or even three) coats of mascara to really make your lashes stand out.

Subtle sparkle

The holidays are the perfect time to add a little shimmer or glitter to your makeup look. "Another great way to amp up your look with minimal effort is to add some glitter to your lower lids," Dantzler tells us. Don't forget to add some faux lashes to this look, too for a beautiful, well-defined eye.

Full body glow

To achieve beautiful and glowing skin all over, use Johnson's Baby Oil Gel as soon as you step out of the shower while your skin is still wet, Dantzler advises. This adds extra moisture that will last all night (ideal for showing off your legs in a short cocktail dress. Then add your favorite shimmering body powder on top for the perfect long-lasting glow.

Bold, red lips

Want to achieve the perfect red lip? It's a must for the holiday season, Dantzler says. Start off with a lip primer to prevent the color bleeding out past your lip line and to help your lip color to last all night. Then, take a red lip pencil to fill in and blend for precision. "Finally, apply a matte red lipstick, blot and you're ready to go!" Be sure to check your teeth for traces of your lipstick.
